Brigitte Spurgeon has enjoyed running since her childhood in South Africa. Coached by her husband, Sandy, she has competed in races ranging from the 1 mile to half marathon. Brigitte lost 50 lbs and has maintained her current weight for 5 years through exercise and nutrition. She is passionate about helping others make healthy lifestyle choices. She also enjoys spinning, slide and weight training.
Brigitte owns a sports nutrition retail business(www.bspurgeon.qhealthzone.com) and is a Wellness Consultant focusing on nutrigenomics. She holds a bachelors degree in Biology and is a NESTA certified running coach.
